There is nothing more thrilling than leaving this city, province, life. I’m going to experience the summer life of Alberta and enjoy the mountains, as they bring me peace. Last year I went with my best friend Max, he was the one who hooked me up with the job because his uncle is the manager. I had an amazing experience, and I met some amazing people. This summer is coming and I can hardly wait. I feel like my spirit is trying to leave early considering a small part of me is still out there. I can’t wait to feel whole again. This month will hopefully not drag on, I need it to go by quick.

I’ve made this decision to make quick money by easily getting a job at a fast food place. I need money to go out west, and it seems this economic slow down has caused a lack of jobs. BIG SURPRISE! I’ve only worked at one fast food place before but it was really more of a coffee shop. I’ve never flipped a burger for the man. This will be short lived though. I just hope I don’t get super fat pounding burgers every day. I’ve aimed high here and the top is next.

I enjoyed a weekend of drinking and memory loss. I also enjoyed a weekend that allowed me to understand, I can’t go into a weekend with big expectations and big intentions. I need to allow the weekend to surprise me. I know there are those boring weekends where you do nothing but don’t fault me on trying to build this weekend up. I was going to see my best man and some close friends. I wasn’t disappointed, I just saw that things weren’t going the way I expected, and I realize that I shouldn’t have cared anyway. I think I need a subtle change. I don’t think that picking up should be expected, it should be a surprise bonus. Oh well, this summer will leave a lot of good times in the dust.
